Job Role: Sales Consultant

Location: Hybrid working – usually in the Aldgate office two days per week EC3A 3DE
Salary: £31,500 per annum + £10k–£15k commission + Excellent benefits!
Contract Type: Permanent

Bond Solon, part of Wilmington plc, is recruiting for a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to help drive new business development and revenue growth through consultative sales of our specialist training offerings.

This is a 360-degree sales role, focused on selling specialist training courses and consultancy through business-to-business calls and managing existing client accounts. Bond Solon takes a consultative approach, building strong client relationships, delivering excellent service, and continually seeking new business opportunities.

 

The role sits within a team that specialises in investigative training for the commercial sector. You’ll be promoting and selling courses covering areas such as HR investigations, handling misconduct, health & safety breaches, and fraud investigations, while also tailoring bespoke solutions to meet each client’s needs.

 

While some sales experience is an advantage, this role is also well-suited to graduates or those at the start of their sales career who can demonstrate strong motivation, excellent communication skills and the drive to succeed. The role offers full training, a clear commission structure and the opportunity to quickly build your skills in a supportive and ambitious team.

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Spending time each day on the telephone making outbound calls to new prospects and existing clients, pitching our products and services, and creating new sales opportunities
  • Handling enquiries from clients and prospective clients
  • Identifying key decision-makers in organisations
  • Matching the client’s needs with Bond Solon’s product offerings
  • Providing quotes and course information to match client needs
  • Following up on marketing campaigns and mailshots
  • Delivering high levels of customer service to new and existing clients
  • Working as part of the Investigations Business Unit sales team to achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly targets
  • Attending client meetings, conferences and seminars

  • A university degree
  • Some B2B sales experience
  • Experience of selling training products and events
  • Previous use of Salesforce
