This is a strategic, high-impact role where you will use your market knowledge to develop, research, and deliver content that positions Axco as a trusted thought leader in Life and Pensions worldwide. 

You will manage a portfolio of international markets conducting in-depth research, working closely with senior industry professionals, and collaborating across our teams to create reports and insights that our clients depend on. 

You will be responsible for:

Market Intelligence & Analysis:

• Researching and analysing global insurance markets to identify trends, new opportunities, and regulatory changes.
• Writing clear, detailed reports covering market overviews, legislation, lines of business, and distribution channels.

Strategic Content Vision & Development:

• Shaping and executing a forward-looking content strategy for Axco’s Life & Pensions portfolio.
• Ensuring content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with client needs and regulatory requirements.

Thought Leadership & Innovation:

• Producing high-value thought leadership articles, reports, and presentations on emerging topics.
• Enhancing Axco’s industry profile by sharing insights that influence insurers, reinsurers, and regulators.

Client-Centric Collaboration:

• Working closely with commercial and product teams to align content with client priorities.
• Acting as a subject matter expert, adding value to client relationships.

Strategic Relationship Management:

• Building relationships with senior insurance professionals, regulators, and market experts across multiple regions.
• Gathering intelligence directly from the market to strengthen the quality of our insights.

What’s the Most Challenging Thing About This Role?

Managing multiple markets and navigating diverse regulatory frameworks is complex and demanding. To succeed, you’ll need strong subject matter expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while juggling competing priorities.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A strong specialism in Life insurance.
• An excellent understanding of private medical insurance.
• Knowledge of social security, healthcare, pensions, and employee benefits.
• Familiarity with non-admitted insurance provisions, reinsurance arrangements, and insurance tax.
• Experience researching and summarising complex regulations.
• The ability to turn large volumes of information into accurate, concise summaries. 
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

• Experience in Non-Life insurance.
• Additional language skills. 
• Experience working with international insurance markets.
