Why Do We Want You?

Bond Solon, part of Wilmington plc, is now recruiting for a confident and motivated Sales and Business Development Executive to join our team and support the growth of our expert witness training business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career, perhaps a recent graduate with a few months of experience, who is looking to join a supportive and structured environment.

You’ll get the chance to learn consultative sales techniques and develop your skills while speaking with individuals who’ve recently attended our training or major events.

You’ll start by working with warm leads, people who already know and trust our brand, and gradually build up to cold calling and developing your own pipeline.

If you’re enthusiastic, ready to learn, and excited by the idea of helping professionals find the right training solutions, then we’d love to hear from you!

Please note: At Wilmington Plc, we celebrate individuality and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. As a Disability Confident employer, we shortlist all applicants who meet the essential role criteria and guarantee an interview for candidates with disabilities who meet these criteria. For reasonable adjustments or to apply under our interview guarantee scheme, please use the contact details provided once you have clicked “apply”!

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Reaching out to recent attendees of our training and conferences to discuss further development opportunities.
  • Responding to inbound enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Supporting the team with warm outbound calls and gradually progressing to generating your own leads.
  • Building relationships with professionals to understand their training needs.
  • Working with marketing to follow up on campaigns and leads.
  • Keeping CRM systems up to date with your activity.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to spot opportunities across teams.
  • Taking a consultative approach to sales, matching clients with the right training solutions.

What’s the Best Thing About This Role?

You’ll be joining a well-known, respected name in expert witness training with a warm pipeline to help you grow your confidence and experience.

You’ll be supported every step of the way as you develop your skills in a professional sales environment.

What’s the Most Challenging Thing About This Role?

The training we offer isn’t mandatory, so success comes from building trust and understanding each client’s individual needs.

You’ll need to be curious, resilient, and confident speaking with professionals to help guide them toward the right training options.
