Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Homebased - UK - 1 visit per fortnight to our Birmingham or London office

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + OTE

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

You will be purely focused on winning new clients in the CEECA region (Central & Eastern Europe and Central Asia).

 

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving budgeted sales and revenue performance for our portfolio of qualification, training, membership and risk management tools and services. 
  • Developing & implementing new business and account management strategies and tactics. 
  • Generating new business through self-generated leads.
  • Hitting sales targets and KPIs.
  • Identifying, managing and growing a key account portfolio. 
  • Collaborating with our Sales Director to manage and grow a network partners as well as generating leads. 
  • Voicing our customers to our Product team to ensure our services meet customer requirements in the region.

To be successful in this role, you really will need to have/ be: 

 

  • A proven commercial winner with experience delivering in a high-growth international business. 
  • A skilled verbal and written communicator, experienced operating at Board level both internally and with clients/prospects. 
  • Resilient and tenacious operator who understands the need for positive persistence as a central pillar to achieving business development success at scale. 
  • Innovative and have strong relationship building experience
  • Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team.
  • Ability to network well at all levels – internally and externally

 

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have/ are: 

  • Experience of the professional training and qualifications sector. 
  • Experience selling into the Financial Services and other regulated sectors. 
  • Experience of working across the AML, Financial Crime Prevention, KYC & CDD, Sanctions, Enterprise Wide Risk Management and GRC landscape.
