Job Role: Business Development Manager (MCM)

Location: Homebased with UK wide travel

Salary: Up to £60,000 - OTE £100,000 + benefits

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

Working with clients and our internal teams, your main responsibility will be to identify and secure new business growth and repeat business in existing & new accounts across the Pharma, Med Tech and Bio Tech industries. 

 

Other responsibilities include:

  • BDM is responsible for monthly and annual target achievement for the MCM portfolio
  • Develops and maintains a deep and wide knowledge of the accounts and is able to understand their priorities and needs, turning them into business opportunities;
  • Anticipate clients’ needs, develops and presents proposed solutions to client's complex business issues;
  • Based on long term relationship with client, act as an adviser 
  • Originates and manages the development of large deals with clients for their solution 
  • Timely updates CRM platform with regard to opportunity pipeline and call plan
  • Constantly monitors client satisfaction and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Works with the wider HSJ business to ensure cross selling and upselling

Essential and desirable capabilities

You will also need;

 

  • Experience in a similar sales role, developing business within the Pharma/ MedTech/ Healthcare
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering and exceeding new business sales targets
  • A current driving license and the ability to travel to clients across the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience with SaaS is highly desirable
  • Experience within the markets we operate is desirable
