Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organised individual to join our team as an Operations and Administrative Support Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our company's efficient and effective operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responding promptly and professionally to customer service inquiries, ensuring that their needs are met with the highest level of satisfaction.
  2. Coordinating and managing the fulfillment of resources and events, which includes organizing, ordering, and tracking to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  3. Providing fundamental IT support, primarily in the setup and troubleshooting of laptops and related hardware.
  4. Overseeing vendor management, which involves sourcing new vendors, and cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing ones.
  5. Managing the company's credit cards, including tracking and ensuring the safe retrieval when necessary.
  6. Supervising company travel arrangements, such as booking flights and accommodations, and handling expense reporting.

Essential and desirable capabilities

You will also need;

 

Essential

 

  • Experience working in operations and administrative support 
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A desire to help others and be a team player.

  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
