Job Title: New Business Relationship Executive

Location: Hybrid/Birmingham 

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 plus commission

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

Main Purpose of the role:

  • To drive new business across the Global ICA Territories via outbound sales activity
  • To drive industry growth within target sectors
  • To generate leads for ICA Senior Sales team

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve target sales; leads generated targets
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Work on targeted Sales campaigns as agreed with Sales Director
  • Obtain and share, in a timely basis, insight and information from client meetings & in prospecting calls
  • To develop new business in the EMEA region via the outbound sales activity
  • Work in collaboration with senior sales team to generate leads for each campaign 
  • Collaborate with fellow members of the corporate sales team to share insight/best practice and lead on Sales enablement projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • To develop new business within different International territories
  • To develop new business in targeted industries – as agreed with Sales Director

Essential and desirable capabilities

We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...

 

We know it’s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role’s location by the start of their employment.

 

You will also need;

 

  • New outbound business development experience 
  • To have a passion for consultative sales and a desire to dig deep into accounts to diagnose the best solutions for them – even if they don’t know about them yet.
  • To enjoy the challenge of the sales environment 
  • Ability to forecast a new business pipeline accurately
  • Ability to generate new sales in a cold sales environment
  • Excellent communication and accurate, professional written skills with the ability to engage across multiple platforms (in person, virtually and via email)
  • Principles of negotiating
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience of using a CRM system is desirable
  • Experience of selling B2B services and dealing with dynamic customers, ideally in a training environment
