This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is looking for career progression and who possesses research skills, maybe with experience as an Analyst or Researcher. You'll be joining our fantastic, energetic Non-Life Insurance team who will fully support you with on-the-job training as well as supporting with qualifications, such as CII.

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

As our Associate Research Analyst, you'll be joining our fantastic team of insurance professionals, all of whom have an in-depth knowledge of local markets, practices, and regulations to make them true subject matter experts.

 

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

  • Supporting the non-life team to communicate market developments in insurance and tax regulations worldwide, based on research from a variety of resources. 
  • Researching a focused set of markets to build-up an understanding of the insurance regulations, tax compliance requirements and general supervision of the local insurance market. 
  • Working closely with the Team Leader and Non-Life team members as we look to constantly evolve and improve our offering for clients. This will include building out and maintaining the team’s source database using various research methods, ensuring that Axco remains at the forefront of updating the global insurance industry on regulatory developments.
  • Checking the quality, accuracy, and integrity of non-life content within Axco’s product suite.
  • Contribute to the success and development of Axco by completing daily process tasks and supporting with non-life related projects.

Essential and desirable capabilities

Essential experience:

 

  • Experience in researching, understanding and summarising information.
  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills.
  • Ability to produce concise, accurate summaries based on large amounts of information.
  • Have the desire and willingness to learn insurance concepts.
  • Excellent communication and strong relationship-building skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an inquisitive nature and detail-oriented.

 

Desirable experience:

  • Experience reviewing legislative/regulatory information.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Insurance knowledge or experience.
