Salary: DoE
Why do we want you?
We want you because you are an experienced Conference Director / Conference Producer / Event Content Producer or similar within a commercial business environment (this is not a logistics role), who loves conducting telephone and in person research to develop commercially viable conference agendas across a variety of business sectors.
You don't need to have a network in any specific sector, you just need to be able to identify, influence, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences ensuring that you establish and maintain strong relationships with key professionals, industry / thought leaders, senior executives and media within relevant markets.
Foundation Research Associates (FRA) is the preferred resource for professionals seeking cutting-edge information on the next wave of business opportunities in the areas of finance, law enforcement, government, legal and compliance. We produce more than 20 conferences annually, focused on sophisticated topics and ample networking opportunities for thousands of executives from mid- to senior-level and C-suite. FRA operates alongside its counterpart, RISE, which serves the healthcare community in a similar capacity.
FRA is part of Wilmington plc.
As a FRA Conference Producer you will be the go to person who will make our conferences a success.
You will perform extensive business research, project manage, project plan and execute educational conferences and/or webinars across the US.
As someone who is experienced in conference production and conference management, through your comprehensive research and compilation of intellectual content, you will ensure that delegates find attendance beneficial and are therefore keen to attend further events as a result.
Your background is likely to be a commercial Conference producer/Content/agenda producer or Event content producer who has had responsibility for conference agenda management, content creation and strategic content development for live and virtual conferences and events.
Your research will provide the 'voice of customer' as a foundation to ensure we remain a market leader in the conference world.
Your remit will also include copywriting the promotional materials and ensuring that each conference you have in your portfolio, has strong attendance and runs at a profit.
A journalism background is often a good starting point for conference directors so if thats where your careers started, that's an added bonus.
