Main Purpose of Role

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Product Manager will be an energetic go-getter with an entrepreneurial attitude, capable of driving execution and innovation to sustain year-round engagement and a top-notch experience for our membership base. The Product Manager will:

 

  • Think strategically and creatively to develop and maintain the strategy and execution of the RISE Association communities (three existing and one in development) to solidify brand loyalty
  • Develop and complete product roadmaps to sustain 24/7/365 engagement
  • Drive new ideas for member benefits, identify new community opportunities, and strategize go-to-market plan
  • Work closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders to drive processes and complete product development and marketing
  • Work with web development team to optimize the online experience for members
  • Represent the RISE Association at conferences, webinars, and user groups
  • Plan community presence at RISE conferences inclusive of board meetings, working with operations team and community chairs to execute
  • Understand the intersection points of the communities and the RISE event portfolio and fully maximize the marketing potential
  • Engage business partners, community chairs, and board members regularly to solicit feedback and find opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with sponsorship sales team to drive value for community sponsors
  • Be instrumental in the move towards a monetized membership, working with internal and external teams to accomplish
  • Conduct industry research with customers to analyze member needs and current market trends, steering product in the right direction
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or related field
  • Experience in a B2B or B2C environment in a product management or related role
  • Experience overseeing all elements of a product lifecycle
  • Exceptional ability to plan, strategize, and complete
  • A 'go-getter' with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Experience with content management system (Umbraco a plus)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and effectively time manage, prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent relationship building skills in person, on the phone and via video
  • Team player that works independently and is a self starter
  • Results oriented and able to think creatively to reach goals
