Main Purpose of Role

The Event Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the event technology aspect for all events and assisting in the execution of overall event logistics.


Responsibilities include:-

  • Work in conjunction with marketing, production, and event coordinators to manage content and pricing information in Cvent and Umbraco
  • Create and maintain event registration websites in Cvent, executing edits as needed.
  • Upload and manage content in CMS application - Umbraco
  • Create project plan and manage development of the conference mobile app
  • Coordinate and execute virtual event operations
  • Assist with event logistics and special projects as needed
  • Monitor the fulfillment of contractual payment schedule on all event agreements
  • Manage accreditation process for events across the different brands, ie., CLE and CPE credits

Skills and Experience Required

We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...


We know it’s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role’s location by the start of their employment.


You will also need;


  • Experience in the same or similar role
  • Experience working in Cvent or similar registration systems is desirable but not essential 
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Exceptional time management skills – ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and work effectively under pressure while working as both part of a team and independently
  • Ability to initiate work (self-starter) and present plans to colleagues
