    Job Role:  Software Architect

    Location:  Stockholm

    This role is available for local candidates already authorised to work in the role’s country only as we are unable to fund relocation.

This platform applies the advantages of cloud technology so that our clients can better differentiate their products and services versus less agile competitors.

    Main Purpose of Role

    As a software architect at Interactive Medica you are part of a small and diverse team of highly talented people. You have a lot of responsibility and have the opportunity to make full use of your own initiatives.

     

    In this role, you will focus on on backend developing of the company’s web based solutions so you'll need to be adept at managing and responding to all assigned tickets and development items relating to this are.

     

    You will also be involved in performing code reviews and managing, maintaining and developing development projects ensuring developed code is tested and functional before handing over to QA throughout.

     

    We use agile methods such as Scrum methodology so you'll need to be someone who is comfortable being an active participant in the scrum meetings.

     

    You'll get the opportunity to execute the full lifecycle of software development in this role so you'll need to be someone who loves learning and practicing new technology, tools and third party products that can be incorporated into the development environment.

     

    We use C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Backbone, SASS, Web Forms and work with scrum. 

    Skills and Experience Required

    We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes... 

    • Has the right to work or ability to obtain the right to work in Sweden
    • Has mentored junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices and experience in leading smaller teams
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns and asynchronous programming
    • Successful track record of developing quality software products and shipping production ready software
    • Handling of the entire software development life cycle, end to end
    • Good understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment
    • Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development
    • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
    • Extensive knowledge of C# using Visual Studio using Webforms
    • Good knowledge of frontend technologies
    • Ability to use version control software such as Git
    • Working knowledge of IIS
    • Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server or another Relational Database is required
    • Analytical and critical thinking
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
