    Main Purpose of Role

    We want you because you're a strong relationship manager looking for a true Key Account Management role within a company where you can truly influence the direction of the business.


    We're looking for an experienced Senior KAM/Client Development Manager with fluency in at least one second language, to engage in intelligent sales with the global insurance marketplace, the communities therein and with individual customers to understand their information and data requirements and integrate our products and services into their operations. 


    What will you be doing?

    The job role is approx. 70% KAM with 30% Business Development so you'll need a strong relationship builder and networker with an already established profile in the international Insurance or financial services industry.


    This is a truly international Senior KAM role with global travel to suit your work/life balance commitments so cultural awareness gained through your experience is essential.


    Responsibilities include but are not restricted to;

    • Managing an assigned portfolio of clients with the aim of enhancing business relationships and increasing associated revenues
    • Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders within each client organisation to broaden Axco’s network and communities
    • Through regular communication, identifying and interpreting the evolving information requirements of our clients
    • Working alongside the Client Solutions Team to propose and implement innovative information and intelligence solutions
    • Taking a lead role in the identification of business development opportunities and the preparation of client proposals
    • Leading client meetings, managing and undertaking client travel and attending relevant industry conferences.
    • Negotiating highly complex renewal business
    • Maintaining existing partnerships and seeking new opportunities to enable Axco to deliver an increasingly wide range of solutions and services
    • Managing client queries to ensure that these are dealt with in a professional and timely manner within the Client Development team and/or wider Axco
    • Assisting in managing the revenue stream
    • Effectively sharing information across the business
    • Contributing to the support and mentoring of resource within the Client Development team and/or wider Axco
    • Involvement in new or existing team and companywide projects

    Skills and Experience Required

    • The right to work or the ability to obtain the right to work in the UK
    • A strong understanding of and experience working with or in the global insurance industry
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, forward-planner who takes responsibility for their own continuous improvement, performance and knowledge growt
    • Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills
    • Comfortable working both independently and in a team
    • Proactive approach with the ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity
    • A high level of professionalism and willingness to demonstrate flexibility in the workplace
    • A commercial awareness and analytical nature
    • Strong relationship building skills and the ability and drive to develop your professional network
    • Business fluency in a second language is highly desirable
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise
