    Job Role: Account Manager

    Location: London

    This role is available for local candidates already authorised to work in the role’s country only.

    Central Law Training is a leading provider of post-qualification training for the legal profession. 

     

    The business is a key part of the Professional Division of Wilmington plc, which provides information, education and networking enabling clients to improve their businesses.

    We want you because you have a high level of personal motivation, an excellent telephone manner and experience in B2B selling ideally within a training events business or very similar.

    Main Purpose of Role

    So, what will you be doing…?
    On a day to day basis you will be selling on-site training to businesses who are looking to upskill their teams with legal training and development. 

     

    You will be making outbound calls to speak to decision makers in law firms, corporates and local government to discuss their training needs in order for us to design and deliver bespoke training programmes at their premises and at a time that suits them.

     

    Central Law Training is a membership organisation so we need you to be someone who is strong and passionate about developing rapport with clients and delivering excellent customer service.

     

    You also need to be driven and motivated to seek new ways to win business from new and existing clients so experience of lead generation and conversion is also a prerequisite.

     

    Other areas of responsibility are;

     

    • Writing and sending out engaging and accurate sales proposals
    • Handling a variety of enquiries from existing and prospective clients
    • Building strong customer relationships
    • Undertaking basic training needs analysis and matching the client’s needs
    • Working closely with the Business Development Managers to maximise sales
    • Liase with trainers to brief on client’s requirements, confirm dates and ensure training is delivered to exceed expectations
    • Working as part of the sales team to achieve all sales targets
    • Using the sales systems to make necessary administration and customer notes

    Skills and Experience Required

    We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...

    • We know its not a skill, but we need you to have the right to work or ability to obtain the right to work in the UK
    • Experience in a similar role involving B2B telesales ideally selling training products and events
    • Experience of writing training proposals - desirable
    • Commercial awareness, preferably some knowledge of the legal sector
