    Job Role: Business Development Associate

    Location: London, E1

    We want you because you're a self motivated, experienced Business Development Specialist who has worked in a client facing role within a multinational insurance environment.

    Main Purpose of Role

    This exciting job is more than just business development!  You'll get the chance to not only be making full use of your finely tuned presentation and influencing abilities to promote our products and services to new and existing customers but also, you'll be using your exceptional research and collation abilities to become a true subject matter expert (SME).

    As an SME you will competently deal with direct enquiries from clients and assist the Client Solutions team with day to day tasks along with being heavily involved in new and existing product development projects. 

    You will get the opportunity to meet clients face to face and pitch bespoke solutions to them, so it goes without saying that you'll need to be a confident communicator who is happy to presentation solutions. 

     

    Strong insurance related technical knowledge and understanding is essential as is experience within a sales role.

     

    This Business Development role will need someone who is able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges so you'll be a self motivated individual who is able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.

    Skills and Experience Required

    We know it’s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment 

     

    You will also need;

     

    • Experience in the same or similar sales role
    • Exposure to multinational insurance industry
    • Self starter, team player, client centric
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Organised / Detail orientated
    • High level of professionalism and willingness to demonstrate flexibility
    • Strong academic achievement, preferably university degree
    • Sales experience
