    Main Purpose of Role

    Position Summary: Compliance Week seeks a dynamic Assistant Director, Events and Programs, to enhance and assist with the design and implementation of the company’s numerous in-person conferences, roundtables, and forums as well as regular webcasts. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of event management, both logistics and content design, as well as the ability to create event marketing copy. This position reports to the Compliance Week (CW) Director of Programming and is located in the Boston office.

    Skills and Experience Required

    • 5-10 years of professional experience with a minimum of 3 in event management
    • Ability to assume a leadership role in implementing Compliance Week’s event and program strategy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially as they apply to communicating to a well-educated business market
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with particular attention to detail
    • Ability to remain flexible and prioritize while juggling multiple projects in a tight, deadline-oriented environment
    • Willingness to work as part of a small “all hands on deck” team
    • Strong degree of creativity and initiative
    • Customer-service orientation and highly professional demeanor with all stakeholders, including partners, sponsors, and vendors
    • Domestic and international travel as necessary
    • Familiarity with the compliance & ethics and/or audit fields a plus, but not mandatory
