Wilmington Healthcare is an unrivalled, single healthcare data, education and information resource with outstanding analytics capabilities. We provide our clients with market leading insight into local health economies, complemented by increased access to senior health stakeholders and the wider NHS which results in effective and actionable insights.
Wilmington Healthcare comprises Wellards, Binley’s NHiS and HSJ.
The role of the Project Manager (PM) is to work with the operational and delivery teams across the business to deliver projects that are varied in size and nature, and both internal and external, across the breadth of the Wilmington Healthcare (WHC) portfolio of products and services.
While projects are typically managed remotely from a single location, there will be the need from time to time to travel across WHC sites (Basildon, London, Nottingham) and client/supplier sites as/when required by project.
It is the responsibility of the PM to ensure that projects are delivered profitably and on time, and that the quality of the project deliverables is as defined and agreed with the clients at the start of projects.
The PM will gain considerable understanding of the operational and production aspects of WHC business, including CRM data flows and service delivery, software development, data analytics, research, (NHS) Commissioning Excellence and Pharma Business Intelligence. Any previous experience in these and/or similar areas would be beneficial.
The role requires someone who demonstrates effective and efficient management, organisational and communication skills, and can work with a degree of autonomy and take on personal responsibility in a high-paced high-pressured environment to ensure appropriate management of projects and adequate level of support to the PMTeam.
The successful candidate will have a naturally engaging personality, enabling them to work within a group of people and yet challenge and lead them to work effectively to a common goal. You will be required to work extensively with operational delivery and client services teams in order to successfully deliver projects.
PM’s responsibilities in projects and in the Project Management Team (PMTeam) are varied in nature, timescales, risk/benefit and impact. Therefore, PM will need to work closely with and support the Head of Project Management (HoPM), and other PMs and members of the PMTeam, and be comfortable to take direction and guidance from the HoPM to ensure project and PMTeam needs are met appropriately.
