    Job Role: Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

    Location: Dublin, Ireland

    Main Purpose of Role

    So, what would you be doing…?

    The main purpose of this role is sales.  You will be selling International Compliance Association qualifications under the La Touche Training brand.


    This is a new and therefore exciting opportunity for a self starter who has some experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Executive, developing client relationships both over the phone and face to face.  Your remit will be to increase revenue and profitability and you will be working in the compliance market place so some experience in that filed or similar would be beneficial.


    You will have full autonomy, responsibility and accountability for the sales and promotion of our products and will develop into a subject matter expert with the support of the small friendly team in Dublin.
    You will need to have experience in identifying potential leads and opportunities and growing revenue through identifying new business opportunities.
    It goes without saying that you'll be driven and motivated as well as being someone who sees the importance of controlling the full sales cycle from following up new business leads, to setting up meetings, planning and preparing proposals and presentations right through to providing management with feedback once the sale is closed.


    This is a truly consultative sales role in which you will need to gather an clear understanding of the client needs at multiple stakeholder level as well as ensuring relationships are developed and managed effectively.
    Other tasks and activities are shown below but this is by no means an exhaustive list;
    • Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunities
    • Manages client relationships to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Identifying upselling opportunities and maximising profit
    • Develop key client account plans and measure growth within key accounts
    • Attend sales team meetings as required
    • Build knowledge and development of expertise in assigned vertical market sectors

    Skills and Experience Required

    • The right to work or ability to obtain the right to work in the Country in which this role is based
    • A successful track record in sales consistently achieving revenue through key account management and growing your client base with new business acquisition
    • First class negotiating skills and the ability to influence outcomes
    • Customer business and key account planning
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Creating and delivering customer focused solutions and impactful proposals and presentations
    • Experience of using a CRM system
    • Strong team player
    • Knowledge of B2B and B2C sales
    • Strong numerical ability
    • Marketplace and Industry knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
    • Hold a current UK driving licence
    • You will be highly driven and results oriented
