    Main Purpose of Role

    To work as part of the marketing team to raise our profile and awareness of our brands across the charity, legal and information markets. To write great b2b and consumer facing copy that generates sales and high-quality leads for the sales team.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    Carry out creative marketing campaigns to achieve delegate sales and copy sales targets

    • Work with the Campaign Manager to create and fulfil marketing campaigns that engage our audiences
    • Carry out e-mail marketing campaigns to promote our events, digital and print products
    • Liaise with trade clients to achieve sales targets for digital reports and print products

     

    Work on social media communications to increase awareness of our products

    • Work as part of the wider marketing team to build our online communities
    • Post communications on LinkedIn, Twitter and internal communication channels in line with our social strategy
    • Ensure all products are cross promoted to best effect across the wider business

    Write engaging b2b and consumer facing website copy

    • Keep product websites and event microsites up to date

     

    Manage customer and new business prospect data

    • Responsibility for data handling for e-mail campaigns and ensuring we collect the relevant permissions for data protection and GDPR
    • Research and creation of new prospect lists
    • Carry out campaigns to gain email opt in permissions
    • Keep all subscriber lists in order in Exact Target (email marketing software)

     

    Work with the sales team on lead generation campaigns and sales collateral

    • Carry out digital marketing campaigns to generate leads and sales
    • Organise stands, presentations, signage and collateral for events
    • Work with the Campaign Manager and sales team to create collateral including media packs, sales letters, service e-mails and house ads

    Skills and Experience Required

     

    This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and organised marketing professional who is looking to work as part of a small team to implement new marketing strategies. The successful candidate will be results driven, have excellent copy writing skills and excel at working across multiple projects.

     

    The skills required:

     

    • Up to 2 years marketing experience
    • Excellent copywriting skills
    • Results orientated
    • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise a shifting workload
    • Excellent attention to detail with pride in accuracy of work produced
