    Main Purpose of Role

    To work as part of the marketing team to deliver compelling campaigns to targeted audiences that generate sales and high-quality, qualified leads. To raise our profile and awareness of our brands across the charity, legal and information markets.




    Carry out targeted, creative marketing campaigns to achieve sales targets and generate qualified leads

    • Create marketing campaigns that drive sales and engagement with our key audiences
    • Manage on-site and e-mail marketing campaigns to promote our digital and print products, and reach delegate sales target for events
    • Work with the Head of Marketing to introduce marketing automation and lead nurturing campaigns
    • Ensure all products are cross promoted to best effect across the wider business
    • Liaise with trade clients to achieve sales targets for digital reports and print products


    Work with the sales team to improve customer retention rates and drive new business

    • Work as part of a team to implement an integrated sales and marketing retention strategy
    • Manage all digital marketing campaigns to generate new leads and sales
    • Oversee all sales collateral including media packs, sales letters, service e-mails and house ads

    Work with the Content Manager to schedule sales-led communications through social channels

    • Ensure that all social media communications balance content with promotional messages
    • Work as part of the marketing team to build our online communities

    Ensure all websites are up to date and drive conversions

    • Work with the Marketing Executive to keep our product websites and event microsites up to date
    • Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure all websites are optimised for customer experience to maximise lead generation


    Events management

    • Responsibility for creating branding for new events
    • Creating marketing strategies to meet delegate sales revenues and promote events to agreed deadlines
    • Oversee all stands, presentations, signage and collateral for events


    Manage customer and new business prospect data

    • Oversee the data handling for e-mail campaigns, ensuring we collect the relevant GDPR permissions
    • Work with the Marketing Executive to build and qualify new prospect lists
    • Ensure all lists are well managed across all sales and marketing CRMs


    Skills and Experience Required


    This is a great opportunity for target driven and organised marketing professional who is looking to step up to a management role and work across multiple projects and brands. The successful candidate will be data and systems driven but also have great copy writing skills.



    The skills required:


    • At least 4 years digital marketing experience in a results / data driven environment
    • Experience of implementing lead nurturing campaigns
    • Excellent copywriting skills and good attention to detail
    • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise a shifting workload
    • Experience of working on events an advantage
    • Marketing qualification, ideally digital an advantage
