    Main Purpose of Role

     

    To work alongside the Content Manager to produce and commission high quality content that increases engagement with our brands, promotes our products and generates high quality leads for the sales team.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    Create and publish high quality content for our websites, online communities and newsletters

    • Commission content for our websites and newsletters
    • Mange relationships with external contributors and freelancers
    • Edit and select images for articles submitted by external contributors
    • Occasionally write articles for our websites
    • Keep content schedules to up to date
    • Give creative input to infographic designs and presentation of dataWork with the Content Manager to launch two new online communities for ARK

     

    Amplify content through newsletters, social media, PR and email

    • Push content out through email marketing, newsletters, PR and on social media
    • Schedule weekly posts on social media
    • Build our social media audiences across all brands and channels
    • Help to build our press lists across all brands
    •  

    Network and build relationships to commission content

    • Attend events to network and commission content for all online communities and newsletters
    • Build relationships with the press and key influencers to increase our coverage in the trade and national press

     

    Data management

    • Work with our data team to manage newsletter lists, keeping them up to date and GDPR compliant
    • Grow our audiences through research, networking and partnerships

     

    Reporting

    • Monthly reporting on performance to newsletter, social and PR KPIs

    Skills and Experience Required

    This is a great opportunity for an energetic content executive who wants to develop their commissioning and writing skills and network with professionals across a range of industries. The successful candidate is someone who is motivated by creating content to achieve measurable results

     

     

    The skills required:

     

    • Up to two years working in a content marketing or editorial role
    • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
    • Experience of working with website CMS’s and e-mail marketing software
    • Marketing or journalism qualification an advantage
