    Main Purpose of Role

     

    To provide full administration support to the company’s Student Recruitment Department 

     

    Assist the London Regional Manager with the Student Recruitment Department

     

    Student Monitoring/Administration:

    • Maintain accurate student information on the company database (SIS), including up to date contact details, course bookings and exam information.
    • First point of contact for student Monitoring/Administration.
    • Arrange student course bookings with external providers for accountancy qualifications such ACA and ACCA.
    • Deal with incoming enquiries from firms, training partners, students and tuition colleges.
    • Maintain student information on company database, including up to date contact details, course bookings and exam information.
    • Liaise with firms on the progress of their students, including reporting on their examination results
    • Communicate with students to ensure any problems between the student and tuition providers are dealt with on a timely basis.
    • Send student workshop & PD reports to students and QPRTs
    • Organise QPRT meeting and minute
    • Organise Student Manager’s annual monitoring client visits.
    • Attend tuition providers’ quarterly, six monthly and update meetings.

     

    Student Recruitment

    • Process initial screening of recruitment application forms, ensuring all information is recorded on the company’s main database (SIS) and internal stats reports.
    • Assist with the test marking.
    • Greet candidates on Assessment days (until other staff arrive)

     

    Additional duties:

    • Coordinate both SWAT and Kaplan workshops
    • Produce and circulate department reports as and when required
    • Use the company database to record and access information
    • Provide high quality customer service to all clients (external customers and internal colleagues)
    • To be professionally presented at all times in business suit or alternative
    • Provide assistance to members of the central admin team when required

    Skills and Experience Required

    Essentials

    Desirables

    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative

    Knowledge of a professional services company, preferably accountancy

    Previous exposure to a client-facing role

    Interview skills

    Ability to communicate with a wide variety of groups including but not exclusive to: potential and existing clients, professional bodies, training providers and students

    Experience of manning training courses and facilitating student selection/assessment days

    Flexible approach to workload with the ability to work independently and manage own time and conflicting pressures

    Experience of organising meetings and minute taking

    Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions quickly and confidently

    Willing and able to learn new skills and software packages when required

    Excellent communications skills – written and oral with high level of accuracy in written work including data entry

     

    Excellent team working skills – both locally and across other offices

     

    5 GCSEs grade C+ (or equivalent) including English and Maths

     

    Experience of databases and Microsoft IT packages – Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

     

    Excellent telephone skills
