    Main Purpose of Role

    By providing excellent operational support and accurate administrative duties, this position will be integral to the successful delivery of a nationwide annual portfolio of 30-40 network conferences (circa 50 attendees per meeting), pre, during and post event.   Attention to detail, outstanding customer service and the ability to build strong relations with all stakeholders and event attendees are key attributes, as well as a can-do attitude.

     

    Your key responsibilities will be:

    • Database preparation and maintenance to ensure accurate invitee lists
    • Managing all delegate bookings – updating relevant documents with accurate information of the booking and being main point of contact for customer queries
    • Assist the Senior Events Manager with programme content and speaker selection
    • Produce all the pre-event administration including confirmations and collateral
    • Take a leading role at the event to ensure that delegates and stakeholders have an exceptional event experience
    • Organise post event administration
    • Other related administrative tasks – budget management, travel bookings, maintain stationery/collateral supplies

     

     

     

     

     

    Skills and Experience Required

     

    • GCSE English Language A*/A
    • GCSE Maths
    • Candidates would be expected to be educated to A level or equivalent
    • Experience within an events role or similar role (relative customer service, project management and high level administration experience)
    • An understanding of NHS organisational structures is desirable
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Computer literate
    • Salesforce and Marketo knowledge would be an advantage

     

    You will be a customer focused person who can build rapport at all levels. You are self-motivated, organised, have a meticulous attention to details and can remain calm under pressure. Proactive, with a positive and enthusiastic outlook. Happy to work collaboratively as well as independently as the project requires.
