    Main Purpose of Role

    Duties and Reporting Relationship: Reports to Managing Director, and is a member of the CW management team.


    • Own, develop and champion the overall visual identity of the Compliance Week brand;
    • Lead marketing team, manage and track department budget, approve spending and prioritize resources accordingly;
    • Approve marketing creative, including email, print, display, social, and direct mail;
    • Establish priorities for upgrades to marketing vendors, tools and outbound marketing practices;
    • Working with team, develop concepts, offers, messaging and assets to support engagement and sales of CW’s products and services;
    • Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products;
    • Create marketing reporting function that can track, measure, and analyze performance;
    • Together with Sales Managers , identify internal and external opportunities for affiliate marketing programs—establish relationships, manage agreements, oversee deliverables and monitor ROI
    • Collaborate with Director of Audience Engagement & Product Dev. to Establish KPIs and best practices for audience engagement across web, email and social channels, and provide regular updates to management team and staff.
    • Work with subscription and advertising sales teams to develop and formulate “go to market” messaging and marketing strategies for new products, and creating and updating sales collateral, website communications, etc.
    • Conduct market research activities to provide actionable recommendations to product development and sales teams.

    Skills and Experience Required

    A minimum of 5 years’ experience at marketing director or higher, BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

    Demonstrated skills should include: Collaboration, coaching, managing processes, self-motivated, marketing plan creation and execution, team leadership, customer focus, marketing research, statistical analysis, developing budgets, financial planning and strategy.

    Must be an excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform decisions. Proficiency in marketing automation, digital marketing, social media, and web analytics, is preferred.

    Bonus skills: HTML, Salesforce, Silverpop, Marketo, Trello, and Adobe Creative Suite
