Main Purpose of Role

Due to ambitious growth plans which include a new range of online courses we are now seeking keen and experienced sales professionals to:

  • Ensure all sales targets are exceeded across entire brand portfolio
  • Identify new revenue streams to generate sustainable growth, year on year


To maintain outstanding customer relationships which will include regular visits to key customers in order to grow revenue and market share



  • Extensive customer contact via personal visits, phone and email.
  • Initial contact will be by phone and email followed by client visits and presentations
  • Meeting monthly financial sales targets across all products
  • Pro-actively finding and developing new business opportunities
  • Keeping in regular contact with clients to fully understand their needs and experience with Central Law Training courses
  • Providing outstanding level of customer support and care
  • Take a pro-active role in ensuring that Central Law Training keeps at the forefront of legal training in the UK and uses the most effective sales techniques available
  • Keeping accurate and up to date sales records via CRM system
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing to ensure all set objectives are met
  • Team working – work in partnership with all relevant departments to ensure all company objectives are exceeded

Skills and Experience Required




  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant CRM system (preferably Salesforce)


Desirable: Formal qualifications in sales and marketing/postgraduate degree or equivalent

  • Proven track record of selling and successfully developing new business for a minimum of 2 years
  • Evidence of reaching and exceeding challenging financial targets
  • Experience of selling to senior members of staff
  • Experience selling by phone, email and personal presentation
  • Experience working within legal training or related markets
  • Use of web-based sales tools, sales databases etc

  • A demonstrable passion for training and personal development
  • A real enthusiasm for sales/business development and exceeding targets
  • Willing to take responsibility and work under your own initiative
  • Confidence in dealing with senior decision makers face to face
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to understand customers training needs, and how these can be integrated into a Central Law Training programme
  • Able to develop and maintain strong personal relationships with team members and customers
  • Results oriented
  • Willing to travel within the UK
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Interest in the use of technology in education
  • Professional at all levels
