Main Purpose of Role

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our vibrant marketing team. This is a broad role leading various marketing functions within a dynamic department, but primarily focussed upon supporting the Mercia training department, while also leading all marketing for the Quorum brand. You will have the opportunity to work on integrated marketing campaigns and gain valuable experience across multiple channels.

You should be a confident person with excellent communication and organisational skills to assist our Marketing and Product Development Manager working with all stakeholders. You will be required to interact with various departments, suppliers and clients, so you must be a confident communicator with a professional manner.


Duties include:

  • Direct Marketing and digital campaigns
  • Database management - working with Salesforce system
  • Prepare marketing statistics/campaign reporting
  • Research new industry events and competitors
  • Create and prepare materials for planned meetings, liaising with the Marketing and Product Development Manager
  • Create and contribute to the project plans and strategies
  • Campaign planning and implementation
  • Increasing online traffic and enhance customer behaviour with integrated campaigns
  • Monitor website analytics and report back as required / provide assistance in maintaining Google Ads/ Google AdWords
  • Review and enhance all Training department activity
  • Manage email distribution list including new subscriptions, opt-outs and bounce backs
  • Plan and implement Quorum and Mercia training event/course marketing
  • Assist in producing marketing materials (brochures, online banners, merchandising)
  • Work with Marketing Assistant to monitor literature stock levels,order stock and implement any amendments to the literature
  • Contribute ideas for new campaigns and supporting literature in conjunction with the Marketing Product Development Manager

Skills and Experience Required


A background in advertising/marketing/ is required and previous experience as a Marketing Assistant/Executive is essential.

  • 2+ years experience in a marketing role
  • Organised and capable of working to project plans
  • Confident in contributing to marketing strategy
  • Experience of using integrated online and offline campaigns
  • Good communication skills (including excellent written skills)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience in creating brochures and DM campaigns
  • Creative with a customer focused approach
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Competent with Google Analytics and AdWords
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good telephone manner
  • Experience of Salesforce, Exact Target and Marketo is desired, but not essential
