Main Purpose of Role

A fantastic position has become available within Mercia, the UK’s leading provider of training and support services to the accountancy profession. The position is within the Marketing Support department and will involve processing orders and providing clients with information and advice on an extensive range of marketing products and tools.

  • Be prepared to be involved in the complete buying process from initial advice, chasing and taking orders to proof reading products and invoice routines
  • Be confident in advising clients about the range of products available (training will be given)
  • Have an interest in digital media and be comfortable with the pace of change

Skills and Experience Required

  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and be well organised
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to deal courteously and efficiently with a wide range of people
  • Be willing to work overtime in a busy month if required
  • An excellent working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • A knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous
