Main Purpose of Role

Practice Track and Mercia are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team to cover maternity leave. This is a broad role leading various marketing functions within a dynamic department across the Practice Track and Mercia brands. The role is primarily focussed upon marketing the Practice Track products and services, along with the Mercia promote products, both online and offline.

You should be a confident person with excellent communication and organisational skills to assist the Marketing and Product Development Manager and Office Manager with client liaison and support. You will be required to interact with various departments, suppliers and clients, so you must be a confident communicator with a professional manner. 

Experience: A background in advertising/marketing/ is required and previous experience as a Marketing Assistant/Executive is essential.

Duties include:
•Dealing with clients on a daily basis, via phone, email and online chat
•Direct Marketing and digital campaigns
•Create content for emails, blogs, social and direct marketing campaigns
• Database management - Keep the marketing database up-to-date, importing new data, updating records and performing the necessary cross checks
•Prepare marketing statistics/campaign reporting
•Electronic filing as required
•Create and contribute to the project plans and strategies
•Online and Email Marketing Planning and Implementation
Increasing online traffic with digitally related campaigns
•Review website content and upload marketing materials/new products
•Monitor website analytics and reports
•Manage email distribution list including new subscriptions, opt-outs and bounce backs
•Plan and implement email marketing activities
•Assist in producing marketing materials (brochures, online banners, merchandising)
•Work with Marketing and Editorial team to enhance product offering
•Contribute ideas for new campaigns and supporting literature in conjunction with the Marketing Product Development Manager
•Regular visits to the Practice Track Bristol office required

Skills and Experience Required

Experience: A background in advertising/marketing/ is required and previous experience as a Marketing Assistant/Executive is essential.

 

Personal specification:
•2+ years experience in a marketing role
•Understanding of direct and online marketing is essential
•Experience of using Social Media
•Good communication skills (including excellent written skills)
•Good analytical skills
• Creative with a customer focused approach
•Excellent eye for detail
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Good telephone manner
