Over the last 20 years, Bond Solon have designed and delivered a range of award winning training courses and qualifications targeted specifically at non-lawyers who are involved in the legal system in the UK and worldwide.

Main Purpose of Role

  • To assist the administration of the Company’s Expert Witness training events
  • To maintain the high quality of Bond Solon’s service to clients
  • To develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients, delegates, trainers and colleagues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process client bookings and raise invoices for public course bookings
  • Register Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) delegates
  • Send joining instructions and pre-course material to delegates/course organisers
  • Chase delegates/clients for pre-coursework (statements/reports/case studies)
  • Responsible for transfers/cancellations of the public expert witness bookings
  • Send trainer information packs to trainers within agreed time scales
  • Liaise with the public course venues team and clients to finalise delegate numbers, room requirements, trainer names etc.
  • Ensure course materials are ordered and dispatched within agreed time scales
  • Log and forward cross examination recordings and exam papers to Cardiff University
  • Deal with queries, general communication and correspondence with Cardiff University
  • Shared responsibility with the Marketing Manager for the administration of the annual Expert Witness Conference
  • Attend and assist with the administration for the annual Expert Witness conference on the day 
  • Accurately enter information onto the WREN/WAS systems
  • Amend event registers and delegate registration details
  • Log and scan feedback forms
  • Carry out duties in the absence of other members of the team
  • Assist in other areas of administration as and when required

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • 1-2 years administrative duties

  • Rigorous attention to detail and procedure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident and able to liaise with people at all levels
  • Ability to juggle conflicting demands
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to store and retrieve information systematically
  • Previous experience in a training organisation desirable
