The Big Picture
The company is looking for a Senior VP of Content Development and Marketing who will be responsible for P/L leadership and setting strategy for the finance and healthcare conference divisions within this environment of dynamic change, business threats and opportunities. The Senior VP is accountable for the competitive success, profitable growth and marketplace leadership of our conference divisions and marketing team. The Senior VP gauges the needs of the customers and their exposures to both marketplace and regulatory pressures, and strategically leads his/her team of conference producers to respond to those needs with industry-leading event-solutions. Additionally, revenue generation is equally dependent upon sponsorship fees earned by matching customer audiences with vendor opportunities for face time with prospective clients, requiring a skillful balance between the needs of both key stakeholders.
The divisions will achieve annual revenue growth in two ways. The first of which from our existing portfolio of approximately 80 live events anchored by RISE Nashville which attracts over 1,300 attendees and 100+ sponsors committed to elevating performance across Risk Adjustment, Quality Data Analytics and Care Management. Secondarily yet equally important revenue grow will be achieved by identifying new conference topics in the finance and healthcare arenas.
Who You’ll Be Working With
This senior-level position reports directly to the Managing Director. You will become a member of the Senior Leadership Team of which there are five other members including the Managing Director, Chief Marketing Officer, Director of Sales, Director of Operations and Vice President of Strategy. You will manage the conference production team which is comprised of eight individuals as well as the team of three marketing directors. Collaboration with the sponsorship sales, telesales and operations departments is also critical to your success.
